United States captain Todd Clever has been cited for alleged foul play during the Pool C clash with Russia on Thursday.

Clever has been charged with dangerous tackling and dangerous charging during the US Eagles 13-6 victory in New Plymouth.

Judical officer Judge Jeff Blackett will preside over the hearing, which will take place at the Vero Centre in Auckland on a date to be confirmed.
