The Dragons have signed former South Africa winger Tonderai Chavhanga from the Lions.

The 27-year-old, who was born in Zimbabwe, won four caps for South Africa from 2005 to 2008. He will arrive at his new club on Friday and could be available for selection for the Dragons home clash with Ulster a week on Friday.

"It's a great signing for the Dragons," coach Darren Edwards said. "We wanted a player to further develop our counter-attacking and backfield play. We've made no secret that our style of rugby is attacking play and Tonderai's pace and counter-attacking ability really stands. This signing will breathe even more excitement into our squad and our supporters."
