Russia hooker Valery Tsnobiladze has been cited for an alleged headbutt during their defeat to Ireland on Sunday.

The 30-year-old has been charged with Law 10.4(a), striking an opponent with the head, and will face a disciplinary hearing in Auckland at a date yet to be confirmed.

If found guilty, he is likely to miss his country's final World Cup match against Australia in Nelson on Saturday.
