Tonga centre Suka Hufanga has been banned for five weeks for a dangerous tackle on France winger Vincent Clerc during the Pool A clash in Wellington on Saturday. Hufanga was found guilty of a dangerous tip tackle by judicial officer Christopher Quinlan QC. The offence was deemed to be of mid-range severity, which would command a minimum ban of six weeks, but Hufanga received a five-week ban due to "mitigating factors". The suspension takes immediate effect and the Tongan will be free to return to action on November 7. Hufanga has 48 hours to appeal the decision. © ESPN Sports Media Ltd.
