London Irish No.8 Chris Hala'ufia has been handed a seven-week suspension after admitting a dangerous tackle in the Aviva Premiership match against Gloucester, the Rugby Football Union have confirmed.

The 32-year-old Tongan was sin-binned during the Kingsholm clash on October 1 for a high tackle on Olly Morgan. An RFU statement read: "Hala'ufia was duly suspended by the RFU disciplinary panel...for seven weeks and will be able to play again on November 29, 2011."

Fellow Exile Faan Rautenbach was found not guilty of striking an opponent in the same game, while Leicester prop Boris Stankovic had a citing for a dangerous tackle in the game against Bath upheld, with no further action being taken.
