The IRB have announced that Samoan centre Eliota Fuimaono-Sapolu's appeal against the misconduct charge levied at him will be heard on November 20.

Fuimaono-Sapolu was found guilty of violating the IRB Code of Conduct in October following comments he made on Twitter about Welsh referee Nigel Owens. And as a result, the IRB gave him a six-month suspension from playing - which was suspended over a period of two years - along with three clauses. The Samoan centre was told he had to apologise to Owens, complete 100 hours of community rugby work in Samoa and attend a refereeing course.

The Samoan centre appealed the penalty and will face an appeal committee in London on November 20. The committee will consist of Professor Lorne Crerar (Scotland), Graeme Mew (Canada) and Nicholas Davidson QC (New Zealand).
