London Wasps have bolstered their forwards with the signing of two Russians who turned out in the 2011 World Cup.

Vladislav Korshunov - the Russian captain - comes into the squad as cover for Rob Webber while he is away on Six Nations duty with England. And he is joined at Adams Park by Victor Gresev who will provide cover in the back-row with the likes of Tom Rees and Joe Launchbury both injured.

Korshunov has 57 caps to his name while Gresev was one of the standout players in the recent World Cup for his country. Wasps boss Dai Young was delighted with his captures and is looking forward to them making an immediate impact.

Young said: "These are two players who impressed at the World Cup and they will add strength in depth to the squad for the rest of the season giving us options in key areas."
