Wasps have added USA Eagles international Paul Emerick to their back line resources for the rest of the season.

The 32-year-old has 47 caps for the Eagles and has turned out for Newport Gwent Dragons, Ulster and Parma in the past. He offers cover on both the centre and the wing.

Wasps are in the midst of an injury crisis with both of their first-choice wingers on the sidelines - Tom Varndell and Christian Wade - but they have moved to alleviate concerns in this area with the signings of Tom Prydie and Lee Robinson.

And the wing duo join the likes of Vladislav Korshunov, Victor Gresev, Heinz Koll and Tinus du Plessis in committing to the Adams Park side until the end of the season as they bid to reverse their fortunes with Wasps currently lying 11th in the league.
