Leicester prop Julian White has been cited in the wake of the Tigers' defeat to Exeter at the weekend.

The 38-year-old has been picked up for "allegedly stamping" on an opponent during their 19-11 loss. White will find out his fate later on Wednesday with the hearing taking place at 7.30pm.

And following their loss to the Chiefs on Saturday, Tigers centre Matt Smith has revealed that the players held a 'clear-the-air' meeting on Monday. Tigers boss Richard Cockerill was not involved with the meeting as the players took it upon themselves to reflect on the defeat.

"It was a very open meeting and a lot of harsh words were said, and now we move on from it," Smith told the Leicester Mercury. "We had a huddle after the game and the emphasis in the meeting on Monday was on not letting down the coaches or the fans.

"It was us getting together as a group and speaking honestly about things. A few of the senior players, such as Geordan Murphy, Julian White and George Chuter, had a lot to say and the younger ones listened."

"This is a club which is used to winning silverware and that was one of the discussions, about the standards which we are all expected to meet and that the performance against Exeter was unacceptable.

"Now we have to put that game behind us."
