European Rugby chiefs have announced that the Royal Dublin Society ground in Dublin will host the 2013 Amlin Challenge Cup final.

The Aviva Stadium in Ireland's capital has already been confirmed as the venue for next year's Heineken Cup final, with the two European showpiece events set to take place back-to-back on May 17/18.

"The decision of the ERC Board to stage both the Heineken Cup and the Amlin Challenge Cup finals in Dublin reflects the hugely positive impact Irish clubs and fans have had on European club rugby," European Rugby Cup Chief Executive, Derek McGrath said.

Ireland has never previously hosted the Amlin Challenge Cup final, but has twice hosted the Heineken Cup final at the old Lansdowne Road stadium, in 1999 and 2003.

In 2011 both finals were staged in Cardiff, while this year the Heineken Cup final takes place at Twickenham, with the final of the Amlin Challenge Cup being played at the Twickenham Stoop, home of Harlequins.

Tickets for both matches go on sale at 12.00 noon on Monday, May 21.
