The Brumbies have named Scott Sio in the team to face Western Force in Super Rugby round 11 at Canberra Stadium on Saturday, the recalled loose-head prop the only new name in the starting side that drew with Queensland Reds in Brisbane last Saturday

Ben Alexander moves across the scrum to tight-head prop, with Dan Palmer dropping out of the match-day 22. Ruaidhri Murphy makes his second appearance from the bench, while Leon Power has also been included to make his first appearance of the 2013 campaign as a run-on reserve instead of Jordan Smiler.

"As always with local derbies, we expect Saturday's match to be full of feeling and a tough contest right to the final siren," Brumbies coach Jake White said.

"Scotty comes into the team for Palmer who has been left out this weekend. Scotty has come along nicely this year and looks at home in the starting line-up. The Force has a strong record against us here in Canberra; they almost got us here in round one last year, and in 2011 they had a big, come-from-behind win. They're a good team who have had some big wins over the last couple of weeks. It takes plenty of guts to overcome the Crusaders and the Reds, and we will need to be at the top of our game to get a win on Saturday."

Brumbies: Jesse Mogg; Henry Speight, Tevita Kuridrani, Christian Lealiifano, Joe Tomane; Matt Toomua, Nic White; Ben Mowen (captain), George Smith, Fotu Auelua; Sam Carter, Peter Kimlin; Ben Alexander, Stephen Moore, Scott Sio. Replacements: Siliva Siliva, Ruaidhri Murphy, Leon Power, Colby Faingaa, Ian Prior, Pat McCabe, Robbie Coleman.
