Scotland look set to lose captain Kelly Brown, prop Euan Murray and hooker Pat MacArthur for their latest tour clash against South Africa on Saturday.

All three were injured during the Scots' 27-17 defeat to Samoa yesterday with Brown suffering an ankle injury, Murray a possible hamstring tear and MacArthur a knee problem.

Interim head coach Scott Johnson said: "They could leave the tour. We will have to probably bring in some replacements. There are a lot of battered and bruised bodies after the game."

Scotland have already added Glasgow Warriors prop Jon Welsh to their original squad after Ryan Grant was brought into the British & Irish Lions' tour of Australia.
