London Irish's Declan Danaher and George Skivington will have leadership roles at the club for the new season.

Danaher, 33, has been appointed club captain for a second successive season while Skivington, 30, will be first-team captain and will be responsible for leading the side on Premiership match days.

"We've used this system before at the club to good effect, it takes the pressure off one player and shares the responsibilities," said London Irish director of rugby Brian Smith. "In Declan and George we have two outstanding leaders whose qualities and experience lend themselves to the roles we've allocated to them."
