Edinburgh sign Pumas forward

Edinburgh have announced the signing of Argentina international back-row forward Tomas Leonardi on a three-month contract.

The 26-year-old, capped 18 times by the Pumas, has joined the PRO12 side from South African outfit Southern Kings where he worked alongside Edinburgh coach Alan Solomons.

"Tomas is a physical, abrasive player, who is equally comfortable at No.8 or on the blindside flank," said Solomons. "He's an experienced international who is capable of adding value the squad."
