Ireland have moved up two places to sixth in the latest IRB official world rankings as a result of their 40-9 victory over Samoa on Saturday. Wales, however, have slipped down to seventh with Samoa eighth after the weekend.

There is no movement in the top five with New Zealand unsurprisingly ranked No.1 although South Africa have slightly narrowed the gap after beating Wales. England remain in third with Australia fourth and France back in fifth.

Outside the top eight there is little movement although Italy (11th) and Fiji (12th) have both jumped above Tonga.
