Andrew Hore believes he has played his last match for New Zealand, prepared to bow out from the Test arena having played in the All Blacks side that defeated Ireland at Aviva Stadium in Dublin on Saturday to complete their perfect season.

"I don't think I'll be playing in the All Black jersey again," Hore, who has played 83 Tests, said. "I've had a good run. Hopefully I can get home and make a good fist of my next job, which is going to be a farmer. I'll do that. Hopefully if I do that as well as I've played rugby then I shouldn't be going too bad."

Hore plans to play club rugby, saying "I'll get home and I suppose the battle is to see how fit you can keep going when you're playing club rugby and that".

"If I do get another crack there we'll see what happens. But at the moment I'm just going to go home and enjoy Christmas."

Asked whether his All Blacks career had run its course, Hore said: "I'll just go home and get the farming and that sorted out, and play a bit of rugby for Maniototo and see what happens."
