England have named David Wilson at tight-head for Saturday's Six Nations clash against Ireland at Twickenham. With Dan Cole out for the rest of the season, Wilson has been fast-tracked back into the side despite having played just 47 minutes of rugby in the past two months due to a calf injury. Henry Thomas continues on the bench as tight-head replacement.

In one other change to the matchday 23, George Ford is handed a spot on the bench in place of Brad Barritt. Ford is part of the Elite Playing Squad and will make his debut if he is given the chance on Saturday. The rest of the squad is unchanged from the party that beat Scotland 20-0 in round two with Chris Robshaw captaining the side. "We are excited about being back at our home after two games on the road," Lancaster said. "The Twickenham crowd during the November internationals was superb and I'm sure it'll be the same again on Saturday. "We have been forced into one change and we wish Dan Cole all the best for his recovery. However, David Wilson is an experienced international with 31 caps and he showed in his three starts against Argentina last year what he can do. "It's great to have George involved. He has settled in well and we are confident in his ability should he get his opportunity from the bench." England: Mike Brown, Jack Nowell, Luther Burrell, Billy Twelvetrees, Jonny May, Owen Farrell, Danny Care; Joe Marler, Dylan Hartley, David Wilson, Joe Launchbury, Courtney Lawes, Tom Wood, Chris Robshaw (captain), Billy Vunipola Replacements: Tom Youngs, Mako Vunipola, Henry Thomas, Dave Attwood, Ben Morgan, Lee Dickson, George Ford, Alex Goode
