Harlequins determined to win on home soil

Harlequins coach Howard Graham has tipped his captain Ollie Lindsay-Hague to star in tonight's Premiership Rugby Sevens grand final at the Stoop.

Quins host tonight's Sevens finale and Graham is confident Lindsay-Hague will lead his charges to a maiden title in the tournament.

Lindsay-Hague, who has appeared in 11 IRB World Sevens Series events for England, has been a crucial part of Quins' efforts in the Premiership Sevens in recent years. Now Graham is eager to see him perform in front of home support after Quins battered their way through Group C at Franklin's Gardens last Friday.

"It should be good," Graham said. "I am looking forward to Ollie Lindsay-Hague in front of the home crowd.

"Conor [O'Shea] has been generous and not depleted us fully. Ollie has been released and he is trying to support both camps, as it were.

"He will skipper the team and step up to the plate and he is just a great boy to have in the camp.

"It is one of those tournaments where you just switch off for seven minutes and you are out. I feel like we haven't done ourselves justice over the last couple of years. I think the focus will be there on Friday night."

Harlequins will be joined at the Stoop by Cardiff Blues, Gloucester, Leicester Tigers, London Irish, Newcastle Falcons, Newport Gwent Dragons and Northampton Saints as they compete for the Premiership Rugby Sevens title.
