Tameifuna dishes out big hits in Waikato win

Waikato's Ben Tameifuna cannot be accused of a lack of involvement after being at the centre of two big moments in his side's 22-16 ITM Cup victory over North Harbour.

The big prop put a massive hit on North Harbour's Matt McGahan early in the second half after the fly-half was handed a 'hospital pass'.

And then, with 10 minutes remaining, he shoved referee Glen Jackson to the turf while defending under his own try line. Tameifuna saw yellow shortly afterwards, but not for the push. He was given his marching orders for playing the ball while on the ground but Waikato held on with 14 men to grind out the win.
