Leicester Tigers CEO Simon Cohen has admitted the club fear for Louis Deacon's future.

Deacon is currently out with a back injury and Cohen has conceded to the BBC: "There is a possibility he won't come back but you hope not. Louis has been a great servant of this club and the important thing is we safeguard his future."

Deacon is one of a number of Leicester players currently sidelined with fellow second-row Geoff Parling another member of the Tigers pack who is out injured. With the Tigers counting the cost of a bruising start to the season, Cohen has revealed they are looking to bolster their options in the pack.

"In the second row we will try to being somebody in, at least on loan, in the very near future," Cohen said. "That is the main area we are focusing on. We are talking to one or two in the UK."
