Harlequins have announced new contracts for coaches Mark Mapletoft and Tony Diprose.

Backs coach Mapletoft has re-signed for a further two seasons, while his fellow former England international Diprose - Quins' defence and academy coach - has pledged his future at the Twickenham Stoop until 2018.

Mapletoft joined Quins' coaching staff in 2010, with Diprose spending his entire coaching career at the club and overseeing academy products such as current England internationals Chris Robshaw, Mike Brown and Joe Marler.

"We are very fortunate to have one of the brightest and most forward-thinking coaching teams in the game," Quins rugby director Conor O'Shea said. "Tony and Mark, in their respective roles, are a privilege to work with. They are both pivotal to our on-going development as a club, and we are delighted they have committed their future to Harlequins."
