Rupeni Caucaunibuca's time at Agen has come to an end and the mercurial winger is now turning his attention to Sevens.

Caucaunibuca re-joined Agen ahead of this season but left in September to return back to Fiji to collect his family only to return, alone, in November. He is widely regarded as one of the most gifted players of his generation but off-field difficulties has seen him make a handful of appearances over the years and never realise his huge potential.

It seems Caucaunibuca's next target will be the Sevens circuit, according to Agen president Alain Tingaud.

"He wants to test himself in Sevens, a style of rugby which is growing significantly in view of the Olympic Games," Tingaud told newspaper Sud Ouest. Reports suggest he has earmarked Sri Lanka as a possible side.
