Bath lock Dominic Day has extended his contract with the club.

Day joined the club from Scarlets in 2012 and has made over 70 appearances for Bath. He competes with England's Dave Attwood and club captain Stuart Hooper for a spot in the second row and was in impressive form in the club's famous win over Toulouse on Sunday.

"We're really pleased Dom is staying on with us," said head coach Mike Ford. "His skillset is very high and he has an excellent work ethic. We're excited that he can get even better, which is what we're all striving for as an organisation."

"The level of support we have here in the city is unbelievable, which makes staying so easy," said Day. "I feel at home in Bath. It's an exciting time for the Club, and we're a really close team that want to keep progressing and improving, which results this season have shown."
