England have released 13 players back to their Aviva Premiership clubs after last Saturday's victory over Italy, including the injured trio of Tom Wood, Courtney Lawes and Geoff Parling. Billy Twelvetrees and Jack Nowell join the starting XV from the win at Twickenham in remaining in camp as Stuart Lancaster prepares his men for a Grand Slam eliminator against Ireland next month.
Manu Tuilagi and Joe Launchbury will continue their rehabilitation from injury with England's medical staff as the remaining squad train on Wednesday and Thursday, before the party reassembles on Monday, 23 February. "We have reviewed the Italy match this morning and, while we were pleased to score six tries and win by 30 points, we all know there is plenty to work on," England head coach Stuart Lancaster said. "We will release some players back to their clubs this evening as it will be a good opportunity for them to play for their clubs on a big Aviva Premiership weekend before we get together ahead of the Ireland match. "Mike Brown is in in the early days of the graduated return to play protocol and will not be training this week."
