Toulon suffer Mermoz blow but Parra starts for Clermont

Toulon's Maxime Mermoz has been ruled out of Saturday's Champions Cup final against Clermont Auvergne.

Argentina's Juan Martin Hernandez starts at inside centre for Toulon with Matt Giteau at fly-half. While Mermoz has been sidelined, Juan Smith returns for Toulon and features in a back-row alongside Chris Masoe and Steffon Armitage. Leigh Halfpenny anchors the team at fullback with Bryan Habana and Drew Mitchell on the wings.

Clermont have recalled Morgan Parra at scrum-half with Ludovic Rado shifting to the bench. Brock James starts at fly-half with Camille Lopez waiting in the wings while Fritz Lee returns at No.8 alongside captain Damien Chouly and Julien Bonnaire in Clermont's back-row.

Jonathan Davies is named in the centres with Wesley Fofana with Aurelien Rougerie on the bench.
