Sam Burgess starts at blindside for Bath's Aviva Premiership semi-final against Leicester Tigers.

Burgess, who was this week named in England's 50-man Rugby World Cup training squad, packs down in the back-row. England are still weighing up whether he will feature in the forwards or backs but Bath seem to have nailed their colours to the mast having picked him at blindside rather than inside centre in recent times.

Elsewhere for Bath, captain Stuart Hooper and England centre Jonathan Joseph return while the bench sees a six-two split between forwards and backs.

In the other semi-final Owen Farrell starts at fly-half for Saracens ahead of their trip to Franklin's Gardens to face Northampton. Chris Ashton misses out for Saracens as he is unwell so Chris Wyles shifts to the wing while Maro Itoje is named in the back-row and Billy Vunipola is at No.8.

Northampton name a settled line-up with George North still missing as he continues his recovery from concussion.
