The flood of talent streaming out of the Cheetahs has continued with Springboks winger Cornal Hendricks confirming his move to the Stormers for the 2016 Super Rugby season.

Hendricks' departure follows that of fellow Springboks Willie le Roux and Coenie Oosthuizen; but where his team-mates opted for Durban, the former Sevens star will join the South African conference champions as they embark on a new era.

"Cornal is tall and fast, which is what you need out wide at Super Rugby level, and he's also a proven performer at international level," Stormers Director of Rugby Gert Smal said. "He is a local player who is coming home to his roots, so it's an exciting signing for us on many levels. We look forward to seeing him in DHL Stormers colours come 2016."

Hendricks is firmly in contention for a place in the Springboks' Rugby World Cup squad but didn't travel to Australia ahead of Saturday night's clash with the Wallabies. Bryan Habana and JP Pietersen will occupy the wing spots at Suncorp Stadium on Saturday night.
