Melbourne Rising 18-10 Sydney Stars

Melbourne Rising has secured their place in the semi-finals, while Sydney Stars also claimed a spot despite their tight loss.

The Rising were on the board after just minutes with Ben Meehan dotting down, before the Stars equalised just minutes later with an intercept try. Playing tit for tat, the Rising were in twice again with Justin Marsters and Stacey Ili, but the Stars made sure to get over again before half-time with Tom Kingston bringing the Stars within eight for Stars to trail 18-10 into the break.

However, neither team was to add to their score in the second half with the Stars securing a losing bonus point to earn their semi-final place.

Brisbane City 71-24 Greater Sydney Rams

Brisbane City have finished the regular season unbeaten and secured the Horan-Little Shield and minor premiership with a 10 try to three victory at Ballymore.

Starting strong, Brisbane City was on the board through Adam Korczyk in the opening minutes, and were back over the line again within minutes with Samu Kerevi dotting down under the posts. The Rams soon got some points on the board with Kelly Meafua finding the line, but City continued to build their lead with Junior Laloifi scoring his first of a hat-trick and Alex Gibbon going over. The Rams were then awarded a penalty try minutes before half-time to close the gap to 29-16.

City came out the gates quickly in the second half and opened the scoring with Karmichael Hunt crashing over, the Rams were quick to hit back with Jono Hayes keeping the visitors in the game, but that would be the last of the Rams points with City running in another five tries with Laloifi scoring another two tries, Gibbon earning his double and Moses Sorovi and Mika Tela going over for one each.

NSW Country Eagles 50-24 North Harbour Rays

The NSW Country Eagles have kept their season alive with an emphatic win over the North Harbour Rays in Bathurst.

The Eagles were first on the board with No.8 Sam Figg crossing from the back of a dominant scrum, they were over twice again only minutes later with prop Nashville Kuate storming over and Figg earning his second to lead 24-0 into the break.

The hosts were quick to build on their lead after the break with Ed Stubbs finding the line, but the Rays finally got their game going with half-back Josh Holmes dotting down. Trading blows, the Eagles were over through Andrew Kellaway before the Rays crossed twice through Harry Bergelin and Luke Holmes to bring the Rays within three tries. But the Eagles held the visitors out and took advantage of a Rays mistake to find the line one last time through Mitch Short only minutes from full-time.

Canberra Vikings have reclaimed top spot on the NRC ladder with a convincing six tries to one hammering on the Sunshine Coast. Bouncing back from their first loss of the season last week, the Vikings made sure to finish the regular season with an emphatic win as they head into the semi-finals.

Opening the scoring within five minutes, the Vikings were over the line through a charge down from Mitch Third, they were over the line twice within minutes with half-back Brett Hamlin darting over before James Dargaville crossed.

Queensland Country hit back before the break, closing the gap with James Tuttle finding the line from the back of the scrum. But that would be Country's last points of the night as the Vikings continued to pour on the points in the second half with Leslie Lealua-Iali'l-Makin, Lausi Taliauli and Daniel Penca scoring for the Vikings.
