MILLENNIUM STADIUM, Cardiff -- While footballer Sergio Aguero will prefer to be lining up in the Manchester derby on Sunday, Argentina fullback Joaquin Tuculet says his compatriot can at least console himself with a trip to Twickenham to watch the Pumas take on Australia in the Rugby World Cup semifinals.

Argentina already had footballing royalty dancing around their dressing room when Diego Maradona joined in the celebrations after their pool victory over Tonga, and while he has already promised to fly back to England for the last-four clash against Australia, Tuculet has revealed that he expects to see Manchester City striker Aguero, currently sidelined with a hamstring injury, in the stands too.

"I was already in [the City of Manchester Stadium] to see [Aguero] play and he can call me now," said Tuculet, who scored Argentina's third try as the Pumas stunned Ireland in Cardiff on Sunday.

"We have a very good relationship with the Argentina football players and we're happy for them to come and see us."

It was a wonderful finish from the former Sale and Cardiff player, who grounded down under heavy pressure in the left corner to effectively end any hopes of an Irish comeback in the Welsh capital. However, attentions have already turned to their match with the Wallabies.

"I saw the ruck, I took the ball and I ran. It was an emotional moment. This was my most important game I have played and now I hope we get to the final," he added.

"We have to improve to reach the final. We have worked hard in the last four years and this is a good team. We have good staff and if we work hard we can make the final."

Argentina's performance in Cardiff was a joy to behold and revived memories of their 2007 vintage, when they beat hosts France to claim the bronze medal. For Juan Martin Fernandez Lobbe, who played in the victory against Les Bleus in Paris, reaching the final would be the perfect international swansong.

"I'm having fun like a child. I love to play with the ball. I think you saw in the final 10 minutes, that the crowd around us was extraordinary," Lobbe said.

"Of course I dream. Everybody dreams, everyone wants to get to the final, but it has to start with reality and we have to win the semi-final against Australia. We have a clear idea of what we want to produce and we all believe in our game plan.

"The team is a young one but they all want to play and do their own thing. We all live and die by our game."
