England's new head coach Eddie Jones has been appointed to Goldman Sachs' advisory board in Japan.

Bloomberg reports Jones, who coached Japan to three wins in the 2015 Rugby World Cup, joins a nine-member board and will travel to Tokyo twice a year to pass on his expertise. His role commences on January 1.

The board features various leaders from different industries with Jones' role expected to be focusing on how best to manage people and improving their team ethos.

The president of Goldman Sachs in Japan, Masanori Mochida, said "Goldman Sachs will benefit from his [Jones'] unrivalled leadership and his ability to bring together a multicultural team".

Mochida - who played rugby for Keio University - added Jones "has achieved the impossible by bringing the Japanese team to a level on par with the best in world rugby".
