Elliot Daly and Matt Kvesic have been released back to their clubs as England retain 25 players for Sunday's Six Nations clash with Italy.

Wasps centre Daly and Gloucester flanker Kvesic were in camp as England prepare for their Valentine's Day trip to Rome but will return to Aviva Premiership action this weekend.

Daly and Saracens forward Maro Itoje were travelling reserves last Saturday as England defeated Scotland at Murrayfield, and Itoje is retained in the latest 25-man squad, along with Sale No. 8 Josh Beaumont.

England's new head coach Eddie Jones hinted that he is prepared to make changes to his team to face Italy after calling on his players to give the Azzurri "a good hiding".

"We'll pick the best 23 to play against Italy and the conditions in Italy will be different, so the squad will be slightly different," Jones said.

"The playing conditions will be considerably different. They will be warmer, a faster pitch, different referee so I am anticipating we will be able to get our attack going a lot quicker than we did against Scotland.

"I've said it's going to be a faster game so we could pick a faster pack."
