Warren Gatland has named a near full strength side for the clash against European Champions, Ulster, in Belfast on Sunday.
After the defeat at the hands of Munster last weekend the Irish coach is conscious that his side need a good display in this game, which is raising funds for the Omagh Bomb appeal.
The side selected is likely to be very close to the one that will line out against the USA at Lansdowne Road on the 2nd October.
The only area where the tam may be strengthened is the back row where Trevor Brennan and Andy Ward could replace Kieron Dawson and David Corkery alongside captain Dion O'Cuinneagain.
After the game against Munster Gatland said "Of course we're disappointed with the result. It was Munster's Test match - ours will come in the World Cup. You could really see from the Munster effort that they were throwing their bodies on the line."
Sunday's game is Ireland's last warm up match before the competition gets underway.
