Bucharest
September 17, 1999

Romania completed their World Cup warm up programme with a win over a Bucharest selection on Wednesday.
The squad, who are looking for a win over the USA in their group also hope to run Ireland close but are still experiencing financial problems. In Wednesday's game they played in Dinamo Bucherest shirts, and the replacements had to 'swap shirts' with the player coming off.
Team captain Tudor Constantin has still not fully recovered from a leg injury he suffered in August so second row Tiberiu Branza is expected to captain the side in the first match against Australia.
