Australia's world cup squad draftee Tom Bowman has had stitches inserted in his left leg after gashing his shin at training. Bowman required 18 stitches for the wound he received doing a "jump-up" exercise, a day after joining the squad as a replacement for the injured Brett Robinson. Nicknamed "Disaster", big Tom is expected to resume training once the team arrives in Ireland next Wednesday.
