Skinstad dismisses rift rumours

Bobby Skinstad has rubbished suggestions that his inclusion in the squad has caused a rift amongst the players.
The 23 year old Western province captain was include at the expense of former captain Gary Teichmann and their have been suggestions over the past few days that several squad members are unhappy with Skinstad's inclusion, especially as he is not completely match fit.
"If there was any resentment towards me then it would have been voiced," said the young back row player. "Player respect is vital to a team that wants to win. I think that people are looking for something that's not there."
He also claims that he is fully fit after the knee injury sustained in a car crash in May. "I'm as fit as I can get. I've gained muscle mass. People used to say that I was much too much of a playmaker to tackle. My defence has now improved dramatically."
