South Africa are able to recall Henry Honiball Mark Andrews and Bobby Skinstad to their side for the crunch Pool A match against Scotland on Sunday.
Andrews missed the final Tri-Nations game against Australia in August and both Skinstad and Honiball are returning after nearly a year, having played their last tests against England at Twickenham last December.
Skinstad's return sees Rassie Erasmus move from No.8 to flanker.
Nick Mallett said: "We are ready and we believe Bobby is ready. He has had six weeks of fitness training and has worked hard in contact situations. This is a big test for him after his injury problems but we are confident he will come through."
