The Australian management have decided not to appeal against the decision to ban Toutai Kefu for his part in the incident with Trevor Brennan.
Immediately after Tuesday's disciplinary hearing coach Rod Macqueen said they would appeal - but after a meeting of team officials today it was decided to accept the punishment.
However, Macqueen remained upset over the ban. "We don't agree with the 14-day suspension," he said. "It's a selective citation from our point of view.
"There were a number of incidents in the game. Kefu's suspension will have a significant impact on a campaign we've had going for a very long time. He's one of our top players."
