Honiball forced out of side again
October 14, 1999

Henry Honiball's long awaited return to the Springbok team has again been put on hold, with the fly half aggravating his hamstring in training for the second time in three weeks.
Jannie de Beer, will therefore play his third game of the tournament as the South Africans wretched luck with injuries continues.
Team manager Arthob Petersen said that Honiball might be forced to return to South Africa. "He will receive treatment and we will have to see whether he responds positively.
The Springboks have a fly half problem as De Beer has been nursing a tight thigh muscle. He had not even been among the replacements for Friday's match as coach Nick Mallett wanted to give him time to rest.
Physiotherapist Wayne Diesel is not confident that Honiball will be fit in time for next weekend's quarter final in Paris against England, "It took him two weeks to recover from the injury in the first place," he said. "We will have to see if he can get it right but we don't actually know yet exactly how serious the injury is."
