Defending champions South Africa are confident that influential fly-half Henry Honiball will be fit to play in next Sunday's quarter-final clash in Paris.
Honiball has yet to play in the tournament after picking up a hamstring injury in training.
South Africa will meet either England or Fiji in the last eight and Springbok spokesman Alex Broun said: "We are confident Henry will be fit to play."
Meanwhile, Springbok centre Brendan Venter will remain in Scotland on Monday to face a disciplinary committee after being sent off for stamping in South Africa's final pool A match against Uruguay last Friday.
Springbok coach Nick Mallett has already indicated that the charge will be vigorously defended, claiming that the incident was purely accidental.
