Humphreys confirmed as first choice

David Humphreys returns at fly half as Ireland make seven changes from the side which defeated Romania for their play off against Argentina on Wednesday.
Manager Donal Lenihan confirmed Humphreys, who returns despite an excellent display by Elwood last Friday against the Romanians, as the side's first choice. "David was and remains our number one fly-half," said the former Irish second row.
Humphreys is rejoined in the backs by centres Ken Maggs and Brian O'Driscoll with winger Justin Bishop also returning after a hamstring injury.
Up front, Wood returns and his former British Lions team mate Jeremy Davidson, replaces Paddy Johns who loses out despite some terrific performances in the pool games.
Prop Reggie Corrigan is also recalled as veteran Peter Clohessy has not recovered from a back injury, while Kieron Dawson did enough on Friday to hold his place, thanks to the suspension to Trevor Brennan
