Hart believes gap is closing

Despite the failure of all but one Northern Hemisphere side to make the semi-finals All Black's coach John Hart believes the gap between north and south is decreasing all the time.
"There isn't a huge gap. But people may underestimate the slight difference in intensity between the Tri Nations and the old Five Nations," claimed Hart, after his side had breezed past Scotland and into the semi-finals.
"We play against each other at a level which maybe the countries in the Northern Hemisphere are not used to. But if you analyse the three games over the weekend, I don't see too much between us.
"Scotland showed how competitive they are against us, Australia won decisively against Wales but were under pressure for a while and England suffered from the unfair way the tournament has been set up."
