Bedford will return to Allied Dunbar Action on Saturday at Leicester
Following a buy-out by a consortium representing supporters, the club has to present its plans to the rugby authorities on Thursday and then put them to the supporters at a meeting at the Goldington Road ground that evening.

Former owner John Gurney, who sold the club to Coventry at the beginning of October, finally agreed to sell it back to local business people after the English Rugby Partnership blocked the move to Coventry's Coundon Road base. A confidentiality clause in the deal with Gurney prevents details from being revealed but Alistair Murdoch , the new player/coach is ready to take his side into action for the first time.

Murdoch, took over when Paul Turner walked out on Saturday, has confirmed that everything is geared up to facing the Leicester Tigers on Saturday. "It's great that Bedford Rugby Club will at last be run by Bedfordians," said Murdoch, a former Australian International, who has been with Bedford for the past three years but is currently out of playing action with a shoulder injury.
