London Wasps, with only five points from five starts, will welcome back their World Cup players for Sunday's clash with Saracens at Vicarage Road, and Director of Rugby Nigel Melville believes that the return of players such as captain Lawerence Dallaglio will kick start the season.
"There's no doubt that the World Cup has meant a slow start to the season," admitted Melville "However, with all the boys back in the harness we're raring to go and kick-start our season.''

Scottish winger Kenny Logan should be among the starting XV and will relieve full back Joe Ufton of the kicking duties.

Saracens are at full strength for the first time this season as they prepare for the visit of Wasps, though director of rugby, and scrum correspondent, Alan Zondagh is taking his time before throwing all his big names into the Premiership fray.

He has drafted England back row Richard Hill straight into the starting line-up but Danny Grewcock and Paul Wallace will start the match on the bench.

Zondagh explained: "We've been concentrating on the World Cup players this week. They've not been around for a long time and it will take some time before they're up to speed with what we have been working on over the last four months."

"Richard Hill has been at the club some time and has settled back very quickly and is included in the team, but the other players will take a while to get familiarised and will compete for places over the next few weeks.''

Mark Mapletoft has failed a fitness test on a back strain, while England winger Dan Luger is still carrying an injury from the World Cup.

Back row Phil Ogilvie has not recovered following a clash of heads while scoring against Sale last week, and his absence allows Hill back into the team.
