Lomu to confirm future
November 13, 1999

Jonah Lomu and his manager, Phil Kingsley-Jones, are due back in Auckland over the weekend and a press conference regarding the player's future is anticipated on Sunday.
There is speculation that Jonah will re-sign with the NZRFU and rumours are that he will be joining Wellington. It appears that he has not signed anything with Counties-Manukau, his home union, and if the rumours are true he will play Super 12 rugby for the Wellington Hurricanes.
Last season he played for the Waikato Chiefs and the Chiefs' Chief Executive has said that his franchise would be disappointed to lose Lomu's services.
On Saturday Kingsley-Jones said. "We'll let you know tomorrow. He's turned nothing down. He'll announce his decision when he gets off the plane."
It is thought that International Rugby Board, the New Zealand Rugby Union and key sponsor Adidas have all urged the player to stay in New Zealand and continue playing for the All Blacks.
