Rivalry rekindled by Tetley's Bitter Cup Draw
London
November 15, 1999

West country rivals, and joint Premiership leaders, Bath and Gloucester, have been drawn together in the top tie of the Tetley's Bitter Cup Fourth Round.
The derby is one of only two all top-flight matches in the draw, with league leaders Saracens travelling to struggling Bedford when the cup resumes on the first weekend of the new year.
Eighteen teams from outside Allied Dunbar Premiership One who have qualified through earlier rounds have received mixed fortunes in the draw.
Jewson Two (North) side Nuneaton have been drawn in a money-spinning tie with Premiership runners-up Northampton, while London part-timers Thurrock will not have far to travel when they visit the Stoop to face Harlequins.
The RFU have given fourth-round byes to cup-holders Wasps and Premiership champions Leicester to ensure their place in the last 16 without a ball being kicked.
Full Draw:
London Welsh v Exeter, Bristol v Henley, Gloucester v Bath, Manchester v Nottingham, Newcastle Falcons v Moseley, Bedford v Saracens, Coventry v Bracknell, Birmingham Solihull v New Brighton,
Worcester v London Irish, Leeds Tykes v Sale, Northampton v Nuneaton, Orrell v Rugby Lions, Darlington Mowden Park v Rosslyn Park, Harlequins v Thurrock.
