Quinnell back for the Scarlets
November 26, 1999
Scott Quinnell returns to the Llanelli back row for the European cup clash against Bourgoin on Saturday.
The Welsh No.8 missed last weekend's game against Wasps due to a knee injury and his return is the only change from the side that lost at Loftus Road.
Llanelli team manager Anthony Buchanan is glad to have Quinnell back, and admitted there might well have been more changes after last Saturday's disappointment. "There were a couple of areas for debate, but it was felt that at this stage of the competition the need is for consistency in selection."
Bourgoin, who pulled of something of a shock when they beat Ulster last weekend will be looking to carve open a Llanelli midfield which was less than convincing against the Londoners.
The temptation to move Daffyd James infield has been resisted as Salesi Finau and Neil Boobyer are given another chance to impress.
