Cardiff are to play Llanelli in two friendlies over the next two weeks to give their under-employed squad members some much needed match practice.
The first game will be at Stradey on Wednesday 7th December with the return eight days later.
"These games have been arranged to give rugby to the entire squads in both clubs who desperately need the chance," said Llanelli's team manager Anthony Buchanan.
With Heineken Cup action stopping the teams from rotating their squads as much as they would wish these games will give a chance to some fringe members of the squads, plus some players from junior clubs who both Llanelli and Cardiff want to assess at a higher level.
