Leslie to decide future

John Leslie is set to make a decision about his immediate future following a meeting on Saturday. The Scot's kiwi-born centre spoke to SCRUM from Japan.
"I have to meet with Sanix tomorrow. I can't make any plans until I have spoken to my boss at the club. I may be staying in Japan or I may be returning to the UK."
Newcastle are considered the front runners should Leslie return to British rugby which is thought to be his preference. Certainly all Scottish fans will earnestly hope that the centre returns as the national side looks a potent force with him on board.
When asked how the ankle injury he sustained when playing against the Springboks was progressing Leslie was guardedly optimistic. "I am able to do some light jogging on it right now but I'm still a long way off match fitness."
