Bristol's Canadian World Cup star Al Charron faces a lengthy lay-off after
suffering a suspected fractured cheekbone during today's Tetley's Bitter Cup fourth round victory over Henley.

Back-row forward Charron was hurt attempting to tackle Henley prop Dave Penney during the second half, and went off following treatment.

``It is 99% certain that Al has fractured a cheekbone, and if that's the case, then we are going to be without him for around six weeks,'' said Bristol rugby director Bob Dwyer.
