Bracken hopes to return in March

The injury plagued England scrum-half Kyran Bracken has set his sights on a return to action in March according to reports in the British press.

Bracken, 28, who had an operation on his troublesome back six weeks ago to remove part of a disc was forced to wear a surgical support until recently.

"I hope to be back playing at Saracens in March," he said. "I will face a struggle to get my place back in the first team, but if I'm playing regularly in the second half of the season we'll see what happens with England."

The injury, which he sustained playing for England against Australia last summer, forced him to withdraw from the World Cup squad despite frantic and desperate attempts to get fit and will also mean he misses the Six Nations campaign.
